The White Girl Mob – once consisting of Kreayshawn, V-Nasty and Lil’ Debbie – has seen its share of controversy over the past two years as critics doubted their musical abilities and sales reports have come up slim. This time though we’re seeing a battle of words between members V-Nasty and Kreayshawn which transpired on Twitter during the day on Sunday.
Oakland’s 22 year old YouTube sensation Kreayshawn has teamed up with rising rapper 2 Chainz for a pair of new videos while announcing the August 14 release of her debut full length album Somethin ‘Bout Kreay.
One of the most hyped, hated and adored new artists of 2011, Bay Area-raised Kreayshawn has been on a non-stop path to success since May when she first performed live at SOM. She returns New Year’s Eve at The Regency Ballroom for her biggest local concert to date.
At the end of May, Kreayshawn and her White Girl Mob performed live in San Francisco for the first time in what was clearly the start of something huge. Less than three months later, the girls have refined their swagger with a coordinated performance and true stage presence.
Bay Area white girl rapper Kreayshawn has been making music, videos, and other forms of art since childhood. The new, energetic video to her song “Gucci Gucci” shows her true, vibrant colors and will hopefully give her a step up into the mainstream limelight.
