This Friday, October 26, As You Like It returns to Beatbox after a small break since their collaborative after-hours session with Resident Advisor at Decibel Festival. Morgan Geist, Safeword, Conor and resident DJs Rich Korach vs Mossmoss are booked for the costume party.
This Saturday, June 2, No Way Back presents a special set of live performances at Monarch with locals C.L.A.W.S., Caltrop, It’s Own Infinite Flower, and headlined by the secretive techno group, Dopplereffekt.
After their successful season kick-off in the gorgeous weather at Stafford Lake Park, the Sunset crew returns this Sunday, May 6, with their Full Moon Boat Party. For this one, Sunset offers a taste of classic Chicago house with guest DJ, Traxx, on The California Hornblower at Embarcadero.
Saturday, March 3, No Way Back brings ESG to Mezzanine for their last ever tour. ESG, which stands for Emerald, Sapphire, and Gold, is a band of sisters—Renee, Valerie, and Marie Scroggins—who got together in the late ‘70s on the insistence of their mother who gave them instruments to keep them busy. They quickly found their passion in dance music, creating a blend of post-punk, disco and funk that fit in across a range of underground scenes that developed in New York at the time.
