After a two-month hiatus, Lights Down Low returns to SOM. tomorrow with Gant-Man, the Chicago DJ who help create the ghetto house sound that is now more commonly called juke. With more than 15 years in the game, he has established himself as an international DJ with gigs around the world. He recently reflected on his first rave experience in an interview with SF Station: “When I first went to a rave I thought to myself, ‘Wow, what the fuck is this? All these people with glow sticks, multi-colored hair, big bell-bottom pants, and they look like they’re high on more than just weed.’” Read more
