Weekend Recap: Stevie Wonder Calls Just to Say…

Over the weekend, the party dedicated to Stevie Wonder WONDER-Full got a special surprise when the legend himself called in to say and sing a few words to the Mezzanine audience. Young or old, black or white, it’s clear to see how much of an impact his music makes in the hearts of many.

Although short, the guest cameo over the phone is definitely a treat for those that attended the sold-out show. For those that don’t know, WONDER-Full happens once a year, with DJ Spinna headlining the show. As someone who has attended in years past, this event is highly recommended for those wanting a night of feel-good dancing, with a side of sing-along tunes. Next year will mark WONDER-Full’s ten-year anniversary, so who knows, perhaps Stevie himself will be able to make it in person. It’s always nice to see a local party and venue get some recognition, so take some time out to check out the video above.
