DJ Mr. E’s “Trapalote” Mixes

Not only does Mr. E run favorite SF Mexican food joint Papalote but he’s also been spinning records for more than two decades and is easily one of the most respected DJs in the city. His recent “Trapalote” mixes set the city on fire, showcasing the latest club trend – trap music – a mix between hip hop and house.

After posting his first “Trapalote” mix a month ago, DJ Mr. E soon followed up with “Trapalote 2″and both are full of dance jams. They mostly feature remixes by little-known producers getting in on a fresh sound but also showcase rappers like Jay-Z, Kanye West, Trina and Outkast’s Andre 3000.
