Primus Announces 3D Tour

Posted by Matt Crawford on Jul 19, 2012 | Comments (0)

Northen California favorites Primus announced today that they will introduce a 3D tour to fans this fall featuring two sets at each stop—the first traveling 3D experience of it’s kind, according to the band’s publicist.

Never a band to shy from innovation—be it musically or with giant inflatable astronauts and other stage toys—Primus promises a “one-of-a-kind psychedelic experience.” Dates will be announced July 30, so we’ll have to wait and see where their Bay Area gig will land.

In the meantime, we can only image the visuals that will accompany classics like “Tommy the Cat,” “My Name is Mud” and “Wynona’s Big Brown Beaver.”
