Next Thursday, May 24th check out the avant-garde trio BLOK, comprised of hip-hop siblings from Southern California. From ’90s hip-hop to grime, their spooky layered sounds are a perfect soundtrack to this cloudy weather we’ve been experiencing. Meanwhile, get to know their sounds a bit with the links below!
Check out their mixtape here:
Also headlining the party will be B.C. Kingdom, who recently was featured on fashion-forward clothing company Open Ceremony’s blog. Check out a video of them below, with their R&B-influenced dancehall track “The Melody.”
Also part of this stacked lineup is Immabillu, DJ Superdun, and resident DJs Marco De La Vega and Jaws Da Jormungand.
As always, there will be an open Kanon Vodka bar from 9 – 10pm.
This party takes place at Public Works on May 24th from 10pm – 2am. Entry ranges from $5 – $10, so get there early.
