Today’s the big day when everyone heads to the desert to begin the festivities and prepares for the onslaught of live music we’re about to experience. This is my “Do Not Miss” list.

The Rapture
Friday at 8:55pm in the Mojave tent

The Rapture “How Deep Is Your Love?”
Post-punk at its best with one of 2011’s biggest hits, remixed by every producer out there.

Zeds Dead
Saturday at 4:50pm in the Sahara tent

Zeds Dead “Guest Mix for MistaJam”
A highlight of March’s Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Zeds Dead combines hard dubstep with infectious vocals.

A$AP Rocky
Saturday at 11:35pm in the Gobi tent

A$AP Rocky “Palace” Prod. by Clams Casino
Skip headliner Radiohead to watch Rocky and his crew get rowdy and deliver the future of slowed up hip hop.

The Weeknd
Sunday at 6:55pm at the Outdoor Theatre

The Weeknd “Montreal”
The new sound of R&B just sold out his SF date in minutes and is one of the most overall anticipated acts this weekend.

Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg
Sunday at 10:35pm on the Main stage

Dr. Dre ft. Snoop Dogg “Still D.R.E.”
These masters of the game are set to close the weekend out along with rumored guests Eminem, Warren G and a hologram Nate Dogg.
