Preview: Quantic with Alice Russell

Two of the U.K.’s most-loved independent artists come together this Saturday, March 24, at Mezzanine for a night of funk, soul, and alternative dance music. Debuting their collaborative album on April 3rd, Quantic and Alice Russell utilize blues and folk for a mixture of sweet, melodic soul dance music.

British producer and DJ Quantic started his career playing in various rock bands, but soon moved onto house and broken beat music. Since his debut in 2000, he has worked on projects like the Limp Twin’s Tales from Beyond the Groove and many solo projects like The 5th Toxic. Collaborating with soul singer Alice Russell, his new project Look Around the Corner is sure to be a success.
