Jamie Jones has earned a name for himself as a DJ and producer with his attention to detail and desire to cultivate good vibes. Along with this, he has a strong sense of spaced out, but always groovy, tech-house that enables him to leave his thumbprint on his work, whether it’s a mix or an original track, and doesn’t shy away from riskier territory. He regularly works with Lee Foss as half of Hot Natured and the co-founder of their label, Hot Creations, and has recently gained the spotlight for his forthcoming Fabric mix set to release in a few weeks. Jones’ Fabric 59 builds with a hypnotic pull and eventually thrusts the listener into poppy, energetic dance tracks—a sneak peak of which can be seen below:
Partly attributable to his receptiveness for different sounds and styles, Jones has a flare comes out in his DJ sets, which is also apparent in his remixes and his own productions.
And it’s no surprise that his musical development has been focused in popular spots in London and Ibiza, cities of which are powerhouses themselves for electronic dance music. The music he creates and brings together carries his sonic fingerprint in a way that you can expect he’ll be tearing up Vessel this Thursday at BASE.
