The pairing on this bill couldn’t be better. Thurston Moore, co-founder of Sonic Youth and alternative/noise-rock pioneer, is on the road supporting his mostly acoustic third solo release, Demolished Thoughts, and Kurt Vile’s Smoke Ring for My Halo was an early highlight for the 2011.
