New Video: Moe Green “707″

One of the most hyped new hip hop artists out, Moe Green debuts an R&B-tinged video the week his new EP Lionheart drops.

R&B is coming back with a vengeance as it seeps its’ way into music of all types with an influx of new artists like Frank Ocean and The Weeknd, just to name two. Moe Green takes advantage of the genre’s re-found popularity by sampling and remixing tracks by both artists and laying down his smooth rhymes overtop.

His new video and ode to Vallejo, “707” is a take on The Weeknd’s “Glass Table Girls” with a new, upbeat hometown vibe.

For a sneak peek of Lionheart there will be a listening party this Thursday, June 23 at Beta Lounge with free copies given out from 8-9pm.
